Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of space
• Take reservations and manage the waitlist
• Answer phone calls and provide information to guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Use POS system (such as Aloha POS) to input orders and process payments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
• Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations calmly
• Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures
• Familiarity with POS systems and phone etiquette

Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
