Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly. Assist in food preparation and ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience while maximizing sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, kitchen spaces, and equipment to ensure sanitation standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction during their dining experience. Assist with hosting duties as needed, welcoming guests and managing reservations through systems like OpenTable. Experience Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with a focus on fine dining or restaurant environments. Culinary experience is a plus, along with familiarity with food preparation techniques. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy setting. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is required. Experience with guest services, including effective communication and guest relations skills. Familiarity with cash register operations and cashiering responsibilities is beneficial.
