In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure guests feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied from the moment they arrive until they leave. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash transactions accurately, handle credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms, and provide correct change or receipts Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas following food safety protocols Assist with food preparation or bar service when needed, demonstrating versatility within the food industry Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address inquiries or concerns promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in food service, restaurant environments, or fine dining preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills Knowledge of beverage service standards Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience with food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not required Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.
