Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen and bar staff. Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining proper presentation and quality standards. Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods while adhering to cash handling procedures. Upsell menu items such as premium drinks or specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas in compliance with food safety regulations. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required; fine dining experience is preferred. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards in the food industry. Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest-focused approach.
