Hospitality isn't just what we do. It's who we are. What You'll Do As a Catering Event Barista, you'll help bring the elaichi co. experience beyond our cafes and into events across the Bay Area. Preparing chai and gathering supplies before events Loading and unloading catering equipment and supplies Setting up our mobile chai bar at event venues Brewing and serving our signature chai and pastries Creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest Answering questions about our menu and sharing the story behind elaichi co. Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional service area throughout the event Monitoring product quality and restocking supplies during service Breaking down, packing, and transporting equipment back to the cafe Cleaning and organizing equipment after each event What We're Looking For More than anything, we're looking for people who genuinely enjoy taking care of others. Most shifts range from 5-9 hours, depending on the size of the event, and include prep, setup, service, breakdown, and cleanup. Weekend availability is strongly preferred. Work Location Events take place throughout the Bay Area. Shifts begin at our cafe location in Berkeley before traveling to the event venue.
