Duties Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems Prepare and serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Manage customer orders through food handling procedures, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction. Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness in the workspace to uphold food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue through effective sales techniques. Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and manage retail sales transactions with precision. Maintain a clean, organized work environment by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and supporting sanitation protocols. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with high-paced environments. Food service experience including serving, food preparation, or café operations is advantageous. Knowledge of POS systems is beneficial for efficient order processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and managing retail math calculations. Experience with operating kitchen equipment and understanding food safety management practices is a plus. Retail or grocery store experience that involves handling transactions or customer interactions can be valuable assets.
