Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server - Food Expeditor to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this fast-paced role, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and front-of-house service, ensuring that food is prepared, organized, and delivered with precision and enthusiasm. Your keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and passion for exceptional customer service will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our restaurant operations, contributing to a lively atmosphere where teamwork and efficiency thrive. Duties Coordinate with kitchen staff to expedite food orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of dishes to guests Organize and plate food items according to presentation standards, maintaining quality and consistency Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen personnel to relay special requests or modifications Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation before serving to guests Manage food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations Use POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to track orders and update status during service shifts Skills Strong knowledge of food handling, and safety protocols Proven experience in food expediting or restaurant service roles Excellent communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail Solid organizational skills for managing multiple orders simultaneously Familiarity with POS systems and basic numeracy for order accuracy and billing processes Previous banquet or large-event experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in diverse settings Culinary or hospitality background preferred, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
