Responsibilities Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages quickly and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Support kitchen staff with food running duties, ensuring dishes are delivered safely and efficiently to guests. Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils with proper hygiene practices. Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing work areas regularly. Handle manual lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies following safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs, providing exceptional in-person customer service. Assist with bussing tables, removing used dishes, glassware, and trash to maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Support banquet or special event setups when required, ensuring all guest services are executed flawlessly. Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential. Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety standards is highly valued. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but training will be provided. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during busy periods while maintaining good physical stamina. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members alike. Previous banquet or catering experience can be advantageous but is not mandatory.
