Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create an exceptional dining experience for our guests! In this dynamic role, you'll be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring tables are cleared promptly, dishes are delivered efficiently, and guests feel welcomed and cared for. Duties Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guest tables accurately and promptly Assist with food running duties, ensuring dishes are presented at the right temperature and in excellent condition Support servers by bussing tables, removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware efficiently Maintain cleanliness in all service areas through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate service flow and guest needs Skills Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with food handling and safety standards is a plus Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and physical movement of supplies or equipment Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for processing orders or payments when needed Excellent customer service skills to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all guests Experience with food running, serving, or banquet service enhances your ability to excel in this role Understanding of food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures to uphold health standards in the restaurant environment Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your proactive approach makes every guest's experience memorable!
