Duties Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus, answering any questions they may have about the menu items. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the lightspeed POS system. Process cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy in handling payments and change. Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food safety standards are met during service. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Buss tables promptly after guests leave to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new customers. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests from customers. Provide assistance to team members as needed, fostering a supportive work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage with guests effectively. Basic culinary knowledge is a plus, particularly in food preparation techniques. Experience with cash registers or POS systems, specifically lightspeed POS, is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Team player mentality with a willingness to help others when needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
