Process cash and card transactions efficiently, including sales upselling to enhance guest experience and revenue. Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, spirits, and cocktail recipes to assist guests with recommendations. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld throughout service, including proper food handling and cleanliness. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns proactively. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for processing transactions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and handle diverse needs professionally. Ability to upsell beverages, spirits, wine, and menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities. Familiarity with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
