Position Overview Flexible; includes evenings, weekends, and holidays Pay Competitive hourly $17 for Cashier + tips Reports To Store Manager / Shift Supervisor What You'll Do Customer Service Greet every customer with a smile and positive energy Guide customers through our simple menu of pizza by the slice and organic soft serve Explain our rotating selection of classic and specialty slices (Cheese, Pepperoni, Fresh Mozz, White Out, Chef T's Fennel Sausage, The Hottie) Suggest customizations (free fresh-grated parm and basil) and premium add-ons (stracciatella, ricotta, hot honey, Calabrian chili) Describe soft-serve flavors (vanilla, chocolate, swirl) and recommend toppings (Oreo, sprinkles, olive oil with Maldon sea salt) Promote specials and loyalty programs Cash Handling & Transactions Accurately operate POS system for cash and credit transactions Handle cash, process refunds/exchanges, and maintain drawer accuracy Cleaning & Maintenance Mop all flooring (dining area, checkout, behind counter) Wipe tables, counters, and sanitize food prep areas Clear/bus tables and empty trash receptacles Clean restrooms and equipment (soft-serve machine, pizza warmers) Handle cleaning chemicals safely Stocking Restock to-go boxes, napkins, utensils, cups, straws, and topping stations Replenish beverage station and cleaning supplies Assist with receiving shipments and monitor inventory levels Additional Duties Perform other tasks as requested by management Senior Cashier - Additional Responsibilities Train new cashiers on POS systems, menu knowledge, and cleaning protocols Act as a role model for service excellence; lead by example during busy shifts Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking with management Assist with opening/closing duties (mopping, register countdown, store securing) What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs (pizza boxes, supplies, cleaning items) Comfortable bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and kneeling Previous cash handling and POS experience preferred but not required—we'll train the right person!
