SUMMARY The Server position entails providing courteous and efficient service to all our guests and possessing expert knowledge of Trader Vic's food, cocktails, and history.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Clock in for each shift in uniform, on time, and ready to work Preform assigned daily opening and/or closing sidework duties Work as a team player, supporting and communicating with co-workers and mangers to ensure optimal guest satisfaction Greeting guests, making recommendations, and taking orders Entering orders into POS accurately and managing timing for coursing and firing Keeping focus on guests at (but not limited too) your assigned section, at all times understanding and following the steps of service with attention to detail Accommodate reasonable requests made by guests and attend to guest needs professionally and efficiently with a polite & positive attitude Utilize Trader Vic's knowledge to answer food and beverage questions accurately Communicate needs to Server Assistant to ensure all service steps are completed Communicate any incidents, complaints, errors, or feedback to MOD Present final bill to guests and properly handle settlement per payment method Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness & organization of equipment, service stations, storage areas and employee break area, at all times Flexibility to preform duties in other areas/sections that may be outside of assigned section, as requested by MOD Flexibility to perform duties that may be outside the typical range of SA duties, if reasonable, and as assigned by

MOD QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to multi-task and prioritize Able to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to adjust to changing schedules and priorities. Effectively and efficiently execute duties with minimum direction Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule format. Must be punctual, have a good attendance record, and have reliable means of transportation to work. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

2+ years of relevant serving experience working in the hospitality environment

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a valid CA Food Handler Certificate or obtain a valid CA Food Handler Certificate by start date.
