Job Description Pier 50 Sushi - Folsom is hiring dependable and hospitality-focused Front of House Team Members to join our team on a full-time and/or part-time basis. This position may include duties as a server, host, food runner, busser, or other front-of-house support role based on restaurant needs, experience, availability, training, and business operations. We are looking for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, value teamwork, and are committed to providing excellent guest service. Recent food and beverage industry experience is preferred, but we are also willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn, dependable, and willing to grow with the team. Key Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner Provide excellent customer service and support a positive dining experience Assist with seating guests, taking orders, running food, bussing tables, and supporting other FOH team members as needed Describe menu items and assist guests with food and beverage selections Accurately enter and submit orders using the POS system Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner Process guest payments when assigned Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, service stations, and common work areas Communicate effectively with team members, kitchen staff, and management Follow company policies, food safety standards, alcohol-service requirements, and restaurant procedures Perform other reasonably related front-of-house duties as assigned based on business needs Preferred Experience Recent experience in the food and beverage industry preferred Experience working as a server, host, food runner, busser, cashier, or other restaurant front-of-house role preferred Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and/or sushi restaurant operations is a plus Alcohol-Service Requirement This role may include the service of alcoholic beverages. Employees assigned to alcohol-service duties must be legally eligible to perform those duties in California and must obtain and maintain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification in accordance with California law and company policy.
