Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the heart of an exceptional dining experience! In this lively role, you will deliver outstanding guest service, ensure food and beverage orders are accurately taken and efficiently served, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster memorable moments for every guest. Whether working in a bustling restaurant, fine dining setting, or vibrant nightclub, you'll be the friendly face that elevates our guests' experience from start to finish. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability. Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods. Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently in fine dining or nightclub environments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction throughout shifts. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of Toast POS systems ; Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while multitasking seamlessly. Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation enhances your ability to assist guests confidently. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes. Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles, or hospitality roles demonstrates versatility in guest services.
