The primary focus will be on staffing our yummy new cafe, preparing food, ordering food and supplies, making sure the cafe is immaculately clean, and orderly, running the POS system and making sure guests love their food!! In down times, this position will staff the front desk, help people with reservations, greet our gym members, ensure the resort is clean and tidy, coordinate with the team to get stuff done and make sure guests have an amazing experience.

The successful candidate will:

• Be enthusiastic about food and working with guests
• Have or be eligible to get a food handler certificate
• Have food preparation and serving experience
• Know food handling, prep and storage and cleaning requirements.
• Experience in creating delicious made-to-order food and beverages (sandwiches and salads).
• Ability to maintain an attractive display of products.
• Be familiar with the purchase and storage of ingredients.
• Expereicne with reservation and POS systems Surrrey Resort is a beautiful glamping site in the heart of Guerneville.

Guests experience wonderful redwoods, and vineyards as they enjoy the sparkling pool, pickelball courts, get a workout done in the gym or simply kick back and enjoy the world around them. As a member of small team, you will have primary duties with the cafe and will also get to pitch in with your teammates making sure the resort is in great condition and that guests have an outstanding experience. No two days will be the same!! Weekend availability is required with the potential for more hours during the week. Our hours of operation are 8am-8pm The starting rate is $19/hr. Employment comes with membership of the gym, use of the pool/hot tub and a discount rate for family members of employees for use of facilities of the resort. Contact us with any questions.
