OVERVIEW

The Server is part of the customer-facing staff for Golf Plus. They attend to customers during their stay, submit orders to the kitchen, and bring food & drinks out to guests when ready. We love good food and creating a comfortable environment where people can have fun while learning how to play golf. As a Server , you'd play an important role in helping achieve that.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Verifying the customers' identification and ages Accurately taking orders and inputting them into the POS system Delivering food from the kitchen and beverage orders from the bar to the correct bay Understand the menu to answer questions and offer recommendations Collaborating with the kitchen staff for correct delivery of orders Light beverage prep and dining area cleaning as needed Processing cash and credit/debit payments using the POS system Performing inventory control while carefully monitoring beverage products Maintaining workstation cleanliness while following all proper spoilage procedures Recognizing when guests are becoming intoxicated and cutting them off when necessary Ensuring responsible alcohol service throughout the shift Providing prompt and professional customer service Bussing some areas as needed Delivering a memorable dining experience for all customers PAY $17 per hour starting rate + tips First 2 weeks of training will not include tips

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or Equivalent Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations At least 1 year experience working in a high-volume food-serving establishment or equivalent educational degree Great customer service and social perceptiveness Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and be responsive Ability to work in a team Physical ability to stand or walk for lengthy periods of time
