As a key part of our front-of-house crew, you'll provide attentive service, foster guest relations, and help create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance their experience. Take accurate orders using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct for timely service. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Manage guest needs throughout their visit, responding promptly to questions or special requests to ensure satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food safety practices. Support team members during busy shifts by assisting with food running, bussing, or hosting duties as needed. Experience Prior experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly valued, especially in fine dining or upscale environments. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable enhances efficiency in order processing. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is essential. Experience with culinary or kitchen environments is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of food preparation and presentation. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are key to building guest relations and working effectively within a team. Ability to manage time efficiently during busy weekend shifts to ensure prompt service without sacrificing quality.
