Overview Join our dynamic team as an Expo/Food Runner/Busser and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will support the front-of-house operations by ensuring timely food delivery, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, and providing outstanding guest service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests while supporting the seamless flow of restaurant operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a fast-paced, lively setting. Responsibilities Assist in food running by delivering dishes promptly from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Clear and reset tables efficiently, bussing dishes and debris to maintain a clean dining area. Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed, following all food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs regularly. Handle manual lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies with safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Support the overall flow of service during busy periods by coordinating with servers and kitchen staff using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS when necessary. Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred. Familiarity with banquet or hotel service environments is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in cleaning, bussing, and maintaining a tidy workspace. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude.
