About Clark s

Oyster Bar:

Clark s Oyster Bar, part of MML Hospitality, is opening in Malibu, California. Known for our exceptional oysters, martinis, lobster rolls, champagne, and signature dishes, we re thrilled to bring the Clark s experience to this vibrant community. Inspired by the 1950s, our design features oak, terracotta, and leather, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With around 100 seats, including a private dining room, we re proud to be a new neighborhood staple where locals and visitors alike can enjoy outstanding food, drinks, and service.

Job Summary:

As a Server, you'll command a busy floor, guiding guests through the dining experience. If you are a proactive team player with a strong work ethic, is detail-oriented, and have a passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and standards of service.

Demonstrate menu knowledge and sales skills, answering questions, and making suggestions.

Relay orders to the kitchen and beverage services.

Communicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of guests.

Complete all side work as assigned.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

At least 1 year of server experience.

Current California Food Handler s and RBS certification required.

Excellent customer service and people skills requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredGood working knowledge of beverages and a willingness to learnAbility to prioritize job duties and manage time effectivelyAbility to read menus, safety documents, etc.

Prior experience with POS systems

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periodsFrequent reaching, bending, and stooping required to serve guests and perform side work.

Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds regularly, such as trays with food and beverages.

Ability to move quickly and efficiently between dining and kitchen areas.

Manual dexterity required for handling small items (e.g., glassware, silverware) and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Work is performed in a fast-paced, indoor and outdoor environment that may include exposure to varying levels of noise and temperature changes.
