Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and wine pairings to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items, including premium wines and spirits, to maximize sales while maintaining guest satisfaction Serve food and drinks with professionalism, including cocktail and beverage service, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Process cash and credit transactions efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant-specific software Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, wine list, spirits, and food industry trends to answer guest questions confidently Ensure sanitation standards are met through proper food handling, cleaning procedures, and adherence to health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a memorable dining experience in a fine dining setting Qualifications Proven experience in food service or fine dining environments with a strong focus on guest relations Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining professionalism Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices preferred Previous experience working with OpenTable or similar reservation management systems is a plus Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding journey where your hospitality talents are celebrated!
