Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments Upsell menu items, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Assist with food preparation and setup for service when needed, supporting kitchen staff as part of the team Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, tables, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation regulations Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently Provide expert knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktail offerings to educate guests and recommend pairings Handle guest inquiries professionally, ensuring excellent guest relations and resolving issues promptly Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is required; fine dining experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is preferred Strong knowledge of beverage service, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and drink presentation techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in food handling Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle cashiering responsibilities Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests and team members Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and processing payments accurately Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for the food industry is essential Hospitality background with strong guest relations skills to create welcoming environments Join us as a Server where your energy fuels memorable experiences!
