Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process food sales, retail transactions, and cash handling efficiently. Prepare food items by scooping ice cream, serving cones, cups, sundaes, and other treats according to company standards. Manage customer orders with precision, ensuring quick turnaround times while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas to uphold sanitation regulations. Upsell additional products like toppings or specialty items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Handle cash register operations accurately, process cash and card payments, and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or serving in quick service or fast-food environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and a focus on creating positive guest interactions. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety standards diligently. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing change.
