Overview To provide the best service possible to our guests and to seek moments to be extraordinary in what we do. Responsibilities Set up food runner station according to Terranea's standards Accurately reads tickets for special preparations/allergies Run food orders from kitchen to guest's seat Consistently keep the pool organized and clean Help pick up soiled plates and beverages, and place into bus tubs Ensure full bus tubs get brought back into service area Maintain cleanliness of work areas, storage, towels, throughout the day Complete closing duties, including requisitioning items Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional Acknowledge all guests according to company standards Anticipate and address guests` service needs Speak with team members and guests using clear and professional language Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by
Supervisors Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
Adhere to departmental policies and procedures Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property Be courteous to all guests and coworkers Qualifications Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational individual Must be able to speak and comprehend English Ability to implement and uphold service standards Ability to work under variable temperature conditions (or extreme heat or cold). Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
Experience, Education, & Licensure:
High School diploma preferred Must possess valid Food Handler's card
Compensation Base Pay Start Rate:
$16.90/ hr
