Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining guest satisfaction Serve food and beverages efficiently, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards including proper food handling and sanitation protocols Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, process payments, and provide receipts using POS systems like OpenTable or other cash register software Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions or concerns promptly, and ensuring guest comfort throughout their visit Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently Ability to manage time effectively in a high-volume setting while maintaining attention to detail Previous experience with culinary tasks or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and cash handling tasks Host/hostess experience or serving background preferred; experience in guest services is highly valued Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering memorable dining moments!
