Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff. Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols. Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during transactions while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable for reservations is advantageous. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities.
