Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Provide knowledgeable recommendations, upselling items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately through cash handling procedures; process payments swiftly using POS systems Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food handling and sanitation practices. Support other team members during busy periods, including host/hostess duties or bussing tables as required. Qualifications Full service restaurant serving experience is required Familiarity with Toast POS Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays Basic math skills for accurate check splitting and cash handling; attention to detail is essential.
