Duties Safely transport food from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met Assist with food preparation tasks and food handling to support kitchen operations Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish dining, bussing dishes and resetting for new guests Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces through regular cleaning routines Handle heavy lifting safely when moving large trays or boxes of supplies, adhering to safe lifting practices Support servers by delivering beverages, utensils, or additional orders as needed during service Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely food delivery and guest needs Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments with a focus on guest satisfaction Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and transaction processing Strong communication skills to interact confidently with team members and guests in person Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices Experience in bussing, cleaning, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a busy restaurant setting Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences Join us as a Food Runner and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality!
