Food Runner

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately Ensure food presentation meets restaurant quality standards before delivery Refill water, beverages, and assist with guest needs as directed by servers or management Assist servers during peak service times to ensure smooth operations Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and back-of-house support areas Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and supervisors Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies Comply with all tribal, casino, and departmental rules and regulations All other duties as assigned Guest Service Expectations Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to all guests Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Uphold the casinos commitment to exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction Required Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Must be able to obtain and maintain all required casino and tribal licenses or permits Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry trays, bus tubs, and items weighing up to 25-40 pounds Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions Ability to work in a noisy, crowded environment Schedule Requirements Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events Compliance & Licensing Must meet all tribal gaming commission, casino background check, and licensing requirements Must adhere to tribal employment policies and procedures Education and Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required Employment Disclaimer Nothing in this job description alters the at-will nature of employment or creates a contract of employment.
