The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen interest in the food service industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and assisting them with their needs. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options. Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using the appropriate systems, such as OpenTable. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Handle cash register transactions efficiently, including processing payments and issuing receipts. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to provide informed recommendations to guests. Skills Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately. Familiarity with restaurant management systems like OpenTable is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively. Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
