October 1, 2024 The Server is responsible for providing excellent dining experience to our diversified guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Exemplify excellent guest service and extensive food and beverage knowledge Must be able to describe Chef's specials, featured wines/spirits, promotions, and thoroughly answer menu questions with confidence. Take and fill orders for guests, and bussing tables. Perform proper table side wine service by way of describing, opening, and presenting wines. Perform all cash exchanges, including receiving payment for food or drink from guests. Assist guests with any special needs that may arise in a professional manner. Keep beverage area and work station clean and sanitized at all times. Follow all company procedures and health regulations at all times. Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required. This position may require cross-training of both front and back of the house daily operations of the Food and Beverage Department. Perform tasks, including bussing tables, seating guests, and other departmental duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Minimum age requirement is 21 Must have excellent guest service skills. One (1) years' experience in serving with an emphasis in fine dining. Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to carry out multiple tasks with limited or without supervision. Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand for entire shift, walk, sit, and to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Environment may be smoke filled on the casino floor, and fast paced with moderate to high noise levels on the casino floor, low to moderate in the kitchen. Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells on the casino floor. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
