Job Duties Stock glassware, utensils, disposables, condiments and other items Clean glassware and pour beer, wine, ciders and other non-alcoholic drinks Offer food pairings, menu, and specials to customers Use proper identification requirements to verify legal drinking age of patrons Greet customers and take orders Communicate and converse with guest Educate customers on beer styles and tastes Communicate with kitchen for food orders Tendering payments Follow cleaning procedure for routine maintenance Minimum requirements Servsafe certification H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Certified beer server will receive preference Must have knowledge of Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Conflict resolution- Must know how to handle aggravated customers or people and de-escalation. Responsible Beverage Server certification- Posess or aquire RBScertification within 30 days
