To exceed guest expectations as they relate to courtesy, professionalism, food quality and prompt service. To monitor the presentation of food to ensure consistency and value. To be responsible for maintaining the high standard of food and beverage service which will complement all other services at Meadowood. To always provide memorable experiences for our guests and members thereby creating long-term, loyal customers.

Position Summary:

Serve guests bread, water, and butter and provide refills as needed. Remove used tableware between courses; clear and reset tables after guests leave.

Major Responsibilities & Work Activities:

Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.

• Assist with opening and closing side work.
• Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift.
• Promptly greet guests as they are seated and offer sparkling, still, or ice water.
• Bring bread and butter to the table after the guest has ordered.
• Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course.
• Clear tables after guests. Take tableware to dishroom and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
• Between seatings promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop.
• Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed.

Compensation:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $17.50 per hour + tips. This is the rate Meadowood Napa Valley reasonably expects to pay. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education, and other job-related qualifications. This position is eligible for service charge distributions and gratuities in accordance with company policy. Total compensation varies and is not guaranteed.
