This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering authentic cuisine and exceptional customer service. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will ensure every guest feels welcomed, attended to, and satisfied with their visit. Paid positions are available, and we value your passion for hospitality and food service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication of special requests. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling additional menu items like beverages or desserts. Maintain knowledge of our menu offerings, including wine, spirits, and cocktail options, to assist guests with recommendations. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and beverage service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Support guest relations by providing attentive service, answering questions about the menu, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or Asian cuisine settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash transactions. Understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Previous experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
