Food Runner | Quince Quince & Co. is seeking a Food Runner to join the service team at Quince, our Three Michelin Star and Michelin Green Star restaurant in San Francisco. The Food Runner plays an essential role in delivering a seamless and thoughtful guest experience. Working closely with the culinary and service teams, this position requires strong communication, attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a genuine interest in food and hospitality. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their fine dining experience and grow within a highly collaborative restaurant environment. Responsibilities

Deliver dishes to guests with accuracy, confidence, and attention to detail.

Learn menu ingredients, preparations, and appropriate descriptions.

Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.

Assist with table maintenance and resetting throughout service.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.

Anticipate the needs of the service team and guests.

Follow Quince service standards and operating procedures.

Participate in pre-service meetings and ongoing training.

Support the team with additional service responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.

Genuine interest in food, hospitality, and learning.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.

Professional, polished, and team-oriented approach.

Ability to stand and move throughout the duration of a shift and safely carry plates and service items.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Quince is a Three Michelin Star and Michelin Green Star restaurant from Chef Michael Tusk and Lindsay Tusk.
