Overview :

San Luis Obispo Country Club is a private country club nestled in beautiful Edna Valley among the hills and vineyards in San Luis Obispo, California. We are currently seeking experienced servers to join our Food & Beverage team.

Job Duties:

• Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.
• Distributes food and wine menus and answers questions.
• Keeps glasses filled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensils.
• Places orders with kitchen and informs cooks about any special cooking instructions.
• Maintains highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.
• Verifies accuracy of prices, taxes, service charge and other charges on all checks.
• Immediately informs supervisor of any feedback from members and guests.
• Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by their supervisor.
• Adheres to grooming and appearance standards.
• Performs other appropriate duties assigned by the Clubhouse Manager.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience as a server, with fine dining experience preferred Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Ability to stand on your feet for prolonged periods of time. Ability to operate POS system and telephone. CA Food Handler's card and RBS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Salary Range:

Starts at $17.00 per hour, plus tips and service charge share.
