Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling techniques to maximize sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and beverage service procedures. Assist with opening or closing duties, including setting up tables, restocking supplies, and cleaning work areas. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest satisfaction. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Excellent communication skills combined with active listening to understand guest needs thoroughly. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while managing time efficiently. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service to enhance guest experiences through upselling. Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions seamlessly.
