EXPERIENCED FINE DINING SERVER

We are seeking a polished, professional, and experienced Fine Dining Server to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing exceptional hospitality, understands elevated service standards, and enjoys creating a memorable dining experience for every guest.

Experience Required:

Minimum 4-5 years of serving experience, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.

Responsibilities Include:

Providing attentive, professional, and personable service from the moment guests are seated through the completion of their dining experience Having a strong understanding of proper fine dining service and table etiquette Greeting guests professionally and confidently explaining menu selections, nightly specials, and featured dishes Developing a thorough knowledge of menu ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens Making knowledgeable recommendations regarding appetizers, entrées, desserts, wines, and cocktails Understanding wine service, including presenting, opening, and properly pouring wine Having basic knowledge of wine varietals and food-and-wine pairings Taking accurate food and beverage orders and entering them properly into the POS system Coordinating the timing and pacing of courses with the kitchen and support staff Properly serving and clearing courses while maintaining the flow of the dining experience Maintaining a clean, properly set, and organized table throughout service Anticipating guest needs without being intrusive Checking back appropriately to ensure guest satisfaction Handling special requests, dietary restrictions, and guest concerns professionally Working closely with bartenders, bussers, food runners, chefs, and management Maintaining a polished and professional appearance Completing opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities Helping maintain the high standards, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere expected in an upscale restaurant

Qualifications:

4-5 years of professional serving experience required Fine dining or upscale restaurant experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of proper restaurant service and dining etiquette Wine and cocktail knowledge preferred Excellent communication and guest-service skills Professional, polished, friendly, and dependable Ability to confidently manage multiple tables while maintaining excellent service Ability to remain calm and organized during busy dinner service Strong attention to detail Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist fellow staff members Must be available evenings and weekends Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential We are looking for someone who understands that fine dining service is about more than taking an order . The right candidate knows how to read a table, anticipate a guest's needs, pace a meal appropriately, communicate with the kitchen, and provide warm, knowledgeable service without making the guest feel rushed.
