Job Overview Join our vibrant winery team as a Tasting Room Server. In this dynamic role, you'll serve tastings, educate guests about our wines, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that highlights the artistry of our winery. Your energy and hospitality will be key in guiding guests through their tasting journey while ensuring smooth operations and sales transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for wine, food, and customer service in a lively, fast-paced environment. Tasting room hours Monday to Thursday noon-6pm Saturdays noon-10pm Sundays 11am-6pm Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly and provide engaging wine tastings while sharing detailed knowledge about our wines and winery story Process sales accurately using Toast POS system Upsell wine selections, food pairings, and merchandise to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the tasting room, bar area, and food handling stations in compliance with food safety regulations Manage guest relations by addressing questions, providing recommendations, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit Support event setup and breakdown for special tastings or private events, ensuring seamless execution in a lively setting such as a nightclub or fine dining environment Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is a requirement Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and beverage service techniques; cocktail experience is desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests confidently and professionally Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in food handling and beverage service Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a lively hospitality setting This role offers an energetic atmosphere where your passion for wine and guest engagement can truly shine.
