Role:
Hill Top Winery is looking for a passionate and personable server to join our team in the beautiful Valley Center, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your love of wine with guests while working in a stunning winery setting. If you thrive in a hospitality environment and enjoy creating memorable experiences, we want to hear from you! Approximately 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests to the tasting room, ensuring a warm and inviting experience Guide guests through wine tastings, flights, and pairings with knowledgeable and engaging conversation Take and fulfill food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, bar, and service areas Educate guests on wine varietals, the winemaking process, and current wine club offerings Process transactions and handle point-of-sale (POS) systems Support wine club membership sales and special events as needed
Requirements:
Prior experience in a winery, tasting room, restaurant, or hospitality setting preferred Passion for wine and eagerness to expand knowledge of viticulture and enology Strong communication and customer service skills Must be 21 years of age or older Ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification or willingness to obtain California food handler's permit or willingness to obtain Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
