Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing Toast POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations. Support food safety protocols, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations. Assist with cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations for bills. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or nightclub environment. Engage with guests to promote a lively atmosphere, contributing to the overall guest experience. Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally. Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and billing purposes. Experience in serving or host/host roles within the food industry is advantageous. Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity can enhance your ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
