A Food Runner is a vital link between the kitchen and the dining room. They ensure food is delivered quickly, correctly, and beautifully while supporting the flow of service and enhancing the guest experience. Ideal for someone energetic, detail-oriented, and team-focused.

ResponsibilitiesHost:

Greet every guest with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanorManage reservations and walk-in seating through OpenTableProvide accurate wait times and offer seating optionsCommunicate guest needs, special occasions, or allergies to the appropriate staffMaintain an organized, clean host stand and entrywayAnswer phone calls and assist with basic inquiries or to-go orders (if applicable)Assist with menu presentation, seating, and cleaning tables

Food Runner:

Deliver food from the kitchen to tables accurately and efficientlyCommunicate clearly with kitchen staff, expo, and serversEnsure correct dishes go to the correct tables and guestsDescribe dishes briefly if needed and answer basic guest questionsHelp clear and reset tables when neededSupport expo line with garnishes, trays, or restockingKeep service areas clean and organizedExperienceStrong communication and multitasking skillsPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetAble to stand and walk for long periods, and lift up to 25 lbsFamiliarity with POS systems (toast and open table)Must be at least 18 years old
