In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between the kitchen and front-of-house service, ensuring that food reaches guests promptly, accurately, and in pristine condition. Your enthusiasm and efficiency will help create memorable dining experiences by supporting seamless food delivery, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various restaurant operations. Duties Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices Assist with food preparation, plating, and garnishing to ensure dishes meet quality standards before serving Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals, supporting overall restaurant cleanliness and organization Buss tables by removing used dishes, utensils, and trash, maintaining a tidy dining environment Support kitchen staff with light cleaning tasks including wiping down surfaces and sanitizing work areas to uphold food safety standards Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when needed Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely food delivery and guest service Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred; culinary or banquet experience is a plus Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout shifts Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and guest satisfaction Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences!
