Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our growing team. Texas T-Bone Steakhouse & Famous Dave's BBQ is now under new ownership, as 2nd generation family owners and we are seeing the restaurant thrive! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen understanding of the food industry. Candidates with experience in steakhouse or BBQ full service restaurants are ideal. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food handling and sanitation standards are met. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to assist guests in their selections. Take accurate food and beverage orders while utilizing upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards at all times. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Process payments efficiently and accurately while maintaining guest confidentiality. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality , particularly in a steakhouse or bbq full-service establishments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests effectively. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation regulations within the food industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate guest relations. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt within the kitchen environment. Must be able to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
