Key Server Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, personalized hospitality by anticipating needs, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Engage our guests in our distinct menu and make knowledgeable recommendations. Describe dishes with care and detail. Gain detailed knowledge of wine lists and beverage pairings to suggest appropriate dishes. Take orders with precision, ensuring seamless timing for multi-course meals. Go go above and beyond the expectation. Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction. Prepare and process guest checks accurately, handling payments and managing cash or credit transactions. Work collaboratively with fellow servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed about menu changes, service standards, and company policies.

Experience:

Previous experience as a server in an upscale or fine dining restaurant is preferred. A strong understanding of high-quality service and guest relations is essential.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to service.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with upscale dining etiquette, food and beverage pairings, and menu offerings. Knowledge of wine and cocktail service is a plus.
