The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered promptly, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to enhance the overall dining experience for our guests. Duties Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely delivery. Monitor the preparation of dishes to ensure they meet quality standards before being served. Assist with cleaning and bussing tables to maintain a tidy dining area. Support kitchen staff with food handling and preparation as needed. Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues or special requests from customers. Maintain organization in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in roles related to food service, catering, or hospitality. Strong communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with team members and customers. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
