Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms, and provide correct change or receipts Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly, and adhering to food safety regulations Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and basic drink mixing techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage guests positively Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting Embark on a rewarding journey in the restaurant industry where your energy makes a difference!
