Lockwork's Tavern is a 100-seat gathering spot pouring craft cocktails and serving elevated tavern fare, fresh coastal bites, and shareable plates — the kind of place where a Tuesday happy hour and a late-night burger both feel like the right call. Saltbrick Prime Steakhouse , our 100-seat fine-dining counterpart, is built around a patented pink-Himalayan-salt-brick dry-aging process, prime cuts, seafood, and a special-occasion cocktail list that earns the room its hush. Both spaces were designed to honor the building's industrial-era craftsmanship, and both live under one roof. The Role We're hiring Food Runners who can move fast, read a table, and make the hand-off from the pass to the guest feel effortless. You'll work both rooms — the buzz of Lockwork's and the polish of Saltbrick — so you'll pick up the range quickly. You'll report to the FOH Manager and work directly with the servers, bartenders, kitchen and expo line. If you take pride in getting food to the table hot, right, and on time — and you want to learn the business from the ground up — this is a great seat. What You'll Own Running food from the pass to the table, hot and correct, with position numbers memorized Knowing the menu cold — cuts, temps, preparations, allergens, and modifications at both concepts Communicating clearly with the kitchen and servers — flagging misfires before they land in front of a guest Restocking runner stations Steakhouse-level polish at Saltbrick and tavern-warm energy at Lockwork's — knowing when to shift gears Cleanliness, safety, and food-handling standards, every shift What We're Looking For Restaurant experience preferred but not required — enthusiasm and a willingness to learn count for a lot Comfort in a fast-paced, high-volume room without losing composure Sharp memory for table numbers, seat positions, and modifications Willingness to learn the menu deeply — especially the steakhouse side, where doneness and cuts matter Ability to lift and carry trays safely, stand for extended shifts, and work in a busy kitchen environment A team player who reads the room and helps wherever the gap is Reliable, punctual, and takes real pride in the details What We Offer Competitive hourly wage plus tip share A real path forward — many of our servers and managers started in runner and support roles A team culture that takes hospitality seriously and takes itself lightly Ready to Apply?
