Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems, ensuring quick and efficient processing Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience Utilize OpenTable for reservations management and coordinate seating arrangements effectively Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed, adhering to all sanitation protocols Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and cash handling Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Experience with host/hostess duties or nightclub serving roles is a plus Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill splitting Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for supporting food prep tasks Knowledge of OpenTable reservation software is preferred Join us at Foolproof Brewing Company where your passion for hospitality meets a dynamic environment!
