Job Description
Join a Team That Makes a Difference Every Day! At Covenant Living, we are inspired to serve. We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Dining Server to join our culinary team. In this role, you'll provide exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests while building meaningful relationships within our senior living community. If you enjoy hospitality, working with people, and creating a welcoming dining environment, we'd love to hear from you! Schedule Full-Time Position Must be available to work both breakfast/lunch and dinner shifts as needed Every other weekend required Latest shift ends at approximately 8:30 PM What You'll Do Provide outstanding service to residents, guests, and staff during meal times Serve meals in the dining room and bistro setting Set, clear, bus, and reset tables efficiently Assist with salad bar preparation, desserts, and light food prep Support meetings, private events, and special community functions Deliver snacks, coffee, tea, and refreshments for events Maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation standards Open and close dining areas as assigned Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control guidelines Create a warm, welcoming, and professional dining experience for residents and visitors What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent preferred Current Food Handler's Permit required ServSafe certification is a plus At least 1 year of restaurant, hospitality, senior living, or food service experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassion, patience, and respect when serving older adults Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, and pulling Ability to work in a fast-paced dining environment Why Join Covenant Living?
